This was a big hit with the 8 year olds. I thought it would seem like a baby toy to them, but they loved the slugs. They wanted to take them on car rides... or play with them during homework time. I found them snuggled in bed on top of a pillow too! They even wanted to take them to school, but I said no because they do make some noise. The lower tones in the noise produced means they don't annoy me as much as other things - but in a school setting noise is not helpful. Just so you know, higher tones noises really drive me crazy, so I was very thankful to find something with lower tones that I found almost soothing in comparison. So if your kid needs a fidget toy that makes noise - this works without the insanity. So far none of them have broken apart or have any gaps to pinch. They look great.

I absolutely love this toy. All 3 of my kids (under 4) love it. It makes a great soothing sound and moves smoothly.

I bought these for my daughters (11 and 17) for Christmas. My 52 year old husband picked one up and even he liked it. They are very satisfying to play with. Very smooth and making a nice soft noise.

My daughter has autism and requests this toy a lot. I ordered the 3 pack and the slugs come in different colors. It bends and makes a clacking noise. The noise doesn’t bother me at all, but some may not like it. It doesn’t light up or glow but it fits the bill for some sensory input my daughter is seeking. Good toy!

Even though it was smaller than I thought it was it is still a great lil toy. No annoying sound and it fits right in the diaper bag for on the go entertainment.

It was hard for me to imagine what these could do or be helpful for, but my kids asked me to get them for their quiet corner. They are kind of these stacked cups that are all connected and move very smoothly with each other... So hard to explain. But it is very satisfying to move them around. I think that you can separate them and mix and match the colors, but we haven't done that yet. Mostly my kids like running their fingers across the ridges and enjoying the tactile feel of them moving around. They are bigger than I thought they would be but still work well for little kids. They work pretty well as a quiet toy, although they aren't silent because they are made of plastic that kind of clicks together a little bit as they move.

Different than what was advertised. In the photos the slugs have long antenna and don't have these ugly eyes, one of them doesn't spin or wiggle and is completely stiff. I bought them for my cats and wanted the antenna so they'd have something to chew on.
