The chalk is chalk but the eraser is really well made. It has thick pile and a good handle.

As a child I often had to clean the chalkboard for disciplinary reasons. This chalk reminded me of those days. Easy apply with extra dust. The chalk is great.

I got this because I purchased a piece of furniture for my guest room that had a chalkboard on it. I thought it would be a cute idea to be able to wait a welcome note to my guests. The colors are great and the eraser works well. The only thing about it is that because they are thin, they do break off easily. I find that I have to be very careful when I write with them. However, other than that, they're the good quality that we've always known with Crayola! I definitely think this set is worth the money But I do think it would be very frustrating and counterproductive for children if they continually break off into small pieces.

This chalk is anything but dustless which I guess I should have assumed contrary the product description. Was super messy for my toddler’s easel, dust everywhere and broke very easily. More than half of the chalk are in the trash in less than 24 hours due to breaking into tiny pieces.
