How to close the box?
Just put the lid RIGHT ON the box, and it will not fall into the box as long as it sits on the top of the box.

How to put wires in from top?
Wires should be pulled out from the end slots and ventilation holes of the box.

This box does NOT fit a surge protector with 6 plugs or more, so you may want a larger one to hold more cords. Please don't put too many cables inside box, or it won't close tight. Read description & critical/negative reviews about size carefully before you buy it, please. Many have given feedback on how SMALL it is, and it only fits a FOUR-plug/SMALL power strip and a few shorter chargers. But still, don't hesitate to communicate with the seller for any questions. I was looking for a way to do better cable management in my living room to hide the unsightly cables and this does just the trick! I was able to fit a good size power strip inside, plug all the things I needed to in, and tuck a 15ft spool of an hdmi cable inside when not in use. I also like the hole in the top to I can run a lamp into it and still have access to the dimmer.

This looks really nice and hides cables in an aesthetically pleasing way. My biggest issue is the lid. It does not fit properly nor does it stay on. I have a standing desk, so every time I adjust the desk, the lid pops off. This would be an amazing product if there was some kind of lock on the lid. I might try to finagle some sort of adhesive inside or look for alternatives, as I really do like the look of this one. However, the lid is a big problem.UPDATE - I ended up returning it. While it looked nice and had promising qualities, the lid popping off was too much to deal with.

Ease of use, fit for purpose, nice bamboo top that gives aesthetic feel. Would buy from this seller again. As you can see it also holds some items on top attractively like a small shelf. RECOMMEND

If you want some lazy cable management at low cost, then this box will do the trick.You can't fit much in this box beyond a power strip and a few bunches of cables. The port hole is on top of the lid, which creates pressure against the lid from the cables. Any more than 3 cables exiting the top will prevent the top from closing. The lid itself is secured by pressure/friction with the sides of the box - not a secure closure mechanism and makes it a lot less versatile.I was eventually able to manage cables from a power strip, router/modem, laptop, and desk lamp in the box but getting the lid to stay closed required a lot of finagling.If you're budget is under 20USD, then I suppose this product works - however, there are better products at a slightly higher price.

I bought this box to protect cables on the floor under a desktop that is easily accessible by my pet dog. This cable management box comes completely assembled & its setup is self-explanatory. Now my dog cannot accidentally pull connections apart or be injured chewing on cables/cords.

Para el costo es un excelente producto, me llegaron las dos cajas como estaba prometido y las medidas son perfectas, tiene entradas a los lados y arriba; esta última es muy práctica porque le da versatilidad. Deflinitivamente lo recomiendo.
