My fear when buying this was that it would turn out to be too flimsy. It's not. It's fine. It looks good, holds a 5-6 plug powerstrip inside and has enough access holes for all the cables. It absolutely works for what it's supposed to do (declutters your desk, hides or at least deemphasizes all your cables), and as long as I don't knock in on the floor or something, I doubt it will break. It's basically tucked away, not to be touched except for occasional dusting.For the price, it's excellent.

Box is a good size, and the cutouts were perfect for the cables that had to go in. I like the color and design, though I think the material is a little light and thin feeling. Not enough to detract and had no impact on the look, but I wouldn't be rough with it. Made the media center cable hub look much cleaner.

Bought this to replace some of the other bamboo or black organizers out there. Looks as pictured, but the wood is a very light, cheap wood (like a balsa). It flexes much more than others so may be more prone to breaking, and as such the top doesn't stay on very well due to low weight. Okay value but know it's not going to be very heavy / good quality wood, and only stained on the outside.

This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I do think it's a bit overpriced but what isn't these days. It is real wood and I'm happy with the build quality. Would buy this again.

This is the second cord box I've bought! I love mine and the parents love theirs! Nothing worse than visible cord clutter but this box solves that problem easily! Highly recommend!

Meh. This product is fine. Confused by all the glowing reviews. Quality of wood is terrible. It’s like balsa wood. And as the title states- it looks like the box my dead cat was sent home in.

Although I read many of the negative reviews, thankfully I did not let them influence my purchase. Although light weight, this is an amazing product. It did require several attempts and a bit of creativity to to enclose the mass of computer and other hardware wires I had under my desk but this little box housed all of them, eliminated the mess and left me with a much more organized and appealing area. I definitely recommend it.

Like others have mentioned, it's lightwood. But that doesn't mean it's shoddy or poor quality. It actually looks great. Has ample room for a larger-than-average surge protector. Looks great on my butcher block counter.
