I would avoid these. Some are pull outs with globs of solder still on the leads, I did find a good one I was able to use. I trash canned the rest.

I use many micro controllers around my house to do different things and at times I need to be able to control a high high current item and don't want to use a mechanical relay (imho, relays fail more frequently) so I use a transistor for reliability. The problem that I ran into is that my micro controllers output 3.3 volts but that is not enough to activate this transistor but 5 volts does the job so I have to also use a logic level converter to be able to use this transistor with my controllers. I am very pleased with this product. If you are using this in high current situation, make sure that it has a heat sink to keep it cool. I think that these transistors are very good quality.
