This reed is a good value, and is well made. There are not a lot of good reeds at this price point (aside from shipping costs) I plan to buy more.

My daughter loved these reeds. So far she said they we're say to break-in and seem to be hold up well. Given the price of oboe reeds these were priced well and seem to be a good product.

Reed was way to short to even use - about 0.5 inch if that. I would have returned if it wasn't such a hassle.

The reed sounds good, but did require slight sanding. Once the shipping fee was added, it cost the same as a local purchase so that lowers the value from Amazon.
