I got these brayers for general crafting, but mostly for applying paint to a debossed surface -- unfortunately for me, the gouges, dings and divots in the rollers of all four brayers will make that a bit difficult (see photo).If the rollers were in better condition, I'd be mostly happy with these. They roll smoothly and are decently constructed (for something as inexpensive as these are). The packaging might be the reason for the condition of the rollers -- these were individually bagged and then very tightly shrink wrapped together into a bundle -- it appears that the divots might be caused by the metal parts of the other brayers being smashed into the soft-ish rubber rollers.Unfortunately, since I didn't get even a single brayer that is really, truly usable for my purpose, I can't recommend these. I'm sure I'll find some sort of use for them, but they're definitely not what I was hoping for.

These brayers are as nice as ones that cost twice as much. They evenly distribute printing ink and clean up easily. Also, one pack should last a very long time.
