I love this mini doughnut maker! There was a learning curve for making the doughnuts, and my photos reflect the progression. When I first poured in the batter, it wasn't enough, and the doughnuts were cooked on the bottom, but pale on the top. I had noticed that the doughnut baker had "feet" and a green heating light on both sides, so for the second batch in the doughnut maker, I filled the doughnut shapes on one side, closed the lid, and flipped the whole thing over. These doughnuts came out beautifully browned on both sides, and they released easily by using plastic tongs. Each batch got better and better. When I was finished with the doughnuts, I let the iron cool, and it was easy to clean with a moistened paper towel. When I decided to glaze the cooled doughnuts, at first I removed the bits of cooked batter in the "holes", but then decided that if the holes stayed closed, the delicious glaze would pool in the center! I am so happy to have this doughnut maker, and am especially happy that I can make gluten-free doughnuts so my husband can enjoy them.

This is a ridiculously super-simple contraption that my kids love. I can buy any mix I want (or make any) and use it in this to make the perfect, cutest little donuts. You can only make a limited amount each time, but it cooks super fast. I can always tell when they’re ready when I start seeing some steam creep out of it, and they’re perfect every time.We are on a gluten-free, plant-based diet, and this works so perfectly to make something fun, tasty, and healthy for my kiddos to eat, especially when I can blend up various tasty fruits and veggies to add to the mix with them being none the wiser. ;) Offer the same thing in boring muffin or any other regular shape... I get the suspicious sniffs and looks and, “Nah, no thanks.â€Offer it in donut shapes? “Donuts?! Yes, please!!!†(Om-nom-nom!)Wish I had discovered this years ago!

I almost never get to have donuts. I have Celiac disease and so even gluten free donuts in donut shops are usually a no-go for me due to cross contamination. I bought this Chef Buddy mini donut maker and it is perfect for making my family a special treat. We used GF cake mix, and followed online directions on using GF cake mix to make donuts. Do not make them like you would regular cake, that won't work. Find a recipe :) They turned out so delicious. We have tried both vanilla and chocolate flavors using Krusteaz mixes and various toppings. I love this little donut maker. It is easy to use, easy to clean and makes perfect mini donuts.

I was really disappointed when it first arrived. I expected a much larger donut maker. And I didn't know how small this would be. However after using it a few times, this donut machine is great. it makes donuts about two bites large. And the kids love it. We've been able to make banana, pancake mix, and just about anything with those shortbreads it's turned out to be a really nice donut maker.

Love this little donut maker and have made different flavors. Saves running out to get donuts, easy to use and to clean. Small compact does not take up a lot of room!

This is just a fun kitchen machine - it makes small batches, works extremely well for the cost. Easy to clean up and store.

La compré porque en un comentario decÃa que venÃan grandes las donitas, pero no. Son de poquito menos de 5cm , y hay que estarlas volteando porque no de cocen bien de la parte de arriba
