For the price this is a pretty decent nut cracker but not worth 5 stars to me. The pair I've had for 30 years works better than this one because the grooves are much deeper. So my husband gets this pair and I keep the old ones because they are easier for me to use.

In my opinion, this nutcracker was not correctly priced, it should have been at. the dollar tree. It is not made well in my opinion. Would not purchase again.
