The Good - very easy to use once you get used to the dials. Light weight and egocomic.The Bad - this machine is intended for Light use on cars and trucks. Definitely not good for boats gelcoat restoration gets pretty warm to the point we're you can't hold it anymore and looses a little bit of power when you apply pressure.

Just the size I was looking for, fit in size just below my DW849XP and above my 3" rotary and D/A polishers. I gave this a several hour work out and only set it down for inspection/wipe or changing pads, warm when restarting and kept on going all afternoon. I had no problems with this tool, controls work great and preset speeds are convenient. I like this tool and I'm glad that I bought it, I bought this from the Chemical Guys website around the Holidays and got a GREAT sale price, which was the deciding factor.

So I bought this for my X5 and my bike.The bike has som scuffs in the clear coat from straps rubbing on the tank. All other bikes I’ve had I’ve never been able to bring back the luster hand polishing and getting the haziness out of the clear coat from and rub marks from riding gear on the tank or straps from bags. Ext.This polisher cleaned them up perfect.I used the 600 and 900 rpm settings only.Went over twice on the panels. recommend taping off areas to unpainted plastic.I used only the white light polishing and fine finishing. Then with the black extra soft pad for final finish. Highly recommended kit.Pair up with the rag company eggless 500 cloth so you don’t scratch up the surface.
