I bought this stuff because it had so many good reviews, so I thought I would leave one too to back them up! This stuff works like magic. It gets those bugs that are so smooshed on you think their permanently part of the paint. I was amazed how easy they came off with this stuff. I have to drive through a canyon for my commute to work, so you can imagine I get a lot of bugs. I also drive through a lot of construction zones on my way to work. I was so sad because tar got on my new car, but this stuff saved the day. The tar came off without much elbow grease. You NEED this to keep your car exterior looking like new!

Blown away by this. I have a white car, and used this product along with their microfiber mitt to remove tar that has been stuck to my car for over a year. It was gone in seconds. This removed bugs and tar that automatic and manual power washes could not. 10/10

I used this bug and tar remover on my Crosstrek. Front bumper and lower door panels had bugs and some tiny tar pimples. I have a bug an d tar sponge. The bugs come off great, and my spray bottle dilution as recommended 6:1. Tar did not budge after 3-5 min presoak. I added more product to my spray bottle and it helped, but I still had to fingernail the stretched tar on my paint and rub way harder that likely will scratch my paint. SO I used a fresh microfiber rag with undiluted product. This seemed to work better. So this product is not well suited for tar. A great bumper and panel presoak, it works, but tar is heavier as it dries hardened. So prefer to have a petro-based paint safe product for tar that does not damage clear coating. I suggest "Klean Strip interior Odorless Mineral Spirits" for more effective against tar and wash panel thereafter then apply protection again.

Had what looked like sap droplets on my automobile paint, probably from a pine tree next to the car and some aphid/bug drops. They are tiny (like a pin head), but clear and you can feel them on the paint, giving a chipped look in the sun. Couldn't scrape/clean them off. Tried all the usual stuff, Rubbing Alcohol, other sprays, soap -- with little success. Then I used this product, diluted 1-6 ratio in spray container. Sprayed diluted product on paint, then using microfiber cloths simply wiped it off! Was amazing, love this stuff. Cleaned the entire car fast fast fast. This was exactly what I was looking for. Great stuff!

This product was the first to successfully remove dried-on tree sap from my car’s hood. Highly recommend! It required only a small amount of effort, along with a plastic card to scrape off the tougher spots. Activation with water was necessary, but overall, it worked efficiently.

I use all Chemical Guys products, trying to keep my vehicle as new as possible.

I tried Chemical Guys CWS_104 to remove tree sap and pitch from my white car. It was largely ineffective (used full strength) and not much better than dish soap and water. The CWS-104 worked better on fresh spots and did a good job on minor cleanup.I also used my long time bug & tar remover from Turtle Wax; It was faster in dissolving the hardened pitch. The Chemical Guys product wasn't awful but it wasn't the miracle product I was hoping for.

I have tried many bug and tar removers and this BY FAR is the easiest and best!!! I diluted it in a spay bottle, since it is a concentrate, and just sprayed it on and wiped it off and the bug guts came off with it! I also use their wax and with both of them, cleaning and waxing my truck is so easy.Very pleased with the product and will definitely buy it again, when I run out!!

I ride a GS off-road. Returning from a north of Superior right day ride that consisted of bog crossings, hydro cuts, miles of old logging roads and gravel cuts and rail trails. There is a strange salt and oil like crud that is used to control dust. It’s very caustic and is almost sticky and after hours in the rain on one stretch of gravel logging road the bike was coated in this crap. Did normal soap and power wash and it didn’t touch it. Bought this product for first time, really just looking for anything that would cut thru this film. Mixed it about 8:1 water to fluid and used hot water. I sprayed the bike liberally and let it soak while I filled a bucket with hot water, maybe a third of the bottles contents and some dish soap. Took a soft chemical guys wheel brush and started to gently ‘scrub’ body panels. Gentle swipes of the wheel brush were enough to entirely remove everything. The film, the thousands of dead bugs, all wiped away. No films left at all. I highly recommend this product. It works very well. I should have taken before and after a. PS I normally simply foam bomb and spray wash my bike. So under the recent trip was a solid two years of non wiped everything. Bike looks new. Till tomorrow anyway.
