This cherry pitter is very good quality and easy to use. It fits well in my hand and effectively removes the pits from cherries. At times, you have to push a little extra, but it is no problem at all.It cleans up very well and, because it is stainless steel, it stays shiny and has a new appearance. The price point is outstanding. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

Best cherry pit remover ever. It's sturdy and will last a lifetime. Easy to use and less messy than the old fashioned way I used to do. It definitely cut the time in half prepping for my jam.

ItΓ’β¬β’s wonderful for pitting cherries and reasonably priced. I gave them as little gifts to friends. I have not tried it with olives.

This cherry pitter is sturdy and high quality, but with a design flaw. When I tried this pitter, the pit would not come out easily and I had to manually remove the pit myself. I wish that little metal part that pushes out the pit were longer so that it could push through the pit completely. Sadly it would be a return but definitely will buy again if the manufacturer redesigns this product. For now IΓ’β¬β’ll try my luck on other brands.

Never thought IΓ’β¬β’d say a kitchen tool was fun but, this one is. And so very easy to use. And the results? Fabulous. Just take the stem out and squeeze. Pit comes out so smoothly sometimes I havenΓ’β¬β’t realized it was out until I had to check. Definitely do this over the sink! With a bowl in it of course. Depending on how juicy your cherries are, thisΓ’β¬β’ll make clean up a breeze. This takes no real effort. Did 2 big bags watching a tv show with ease. Have fun!! I know I did.

We pitted a bushel of small goose plums with this cherry pitter. It worked very well. It is easy to use and simple to wash. I highly recommend this!

Works well but cherry around the pit gets stuck inside the hollow hole. I just took a paperclip and gently removed the pulp that gets stuck so no problem. Good price and I like the fact it wasn't plastic. Should last a long time.

It works. The things that I am concerned about are:1- The metal is not stainless steel and zinc alloy. It arrived with tarnish stains and some parts of the metal plating peeling off. Cherries have a bit of sourness and it will make the metal tarnish fast after couple of application. It is not good for kitchen appliances to be zinc alloy instead of stainless steel. I purchased the metal one so that it be more heavy duty. It is strong when pitting but I am not at all happy with the tarnish on my food.2- The juice splits all over and it is what I expected so I used a large bowl to cover my work to avoid messing all over.
