The price was pretty low (on-sale?). I was worried that I was going to get a annoyingly small cheaply made chess set. But that's not what I received.This set is pretty nice, and a good size, not mini. I seem to remember the description mentioning something about magnets, this set has no magnetics whatsoever, I do not see a need for them anyway

The wooden chess board is alright; it has a nice weight and feel, but came with a few minor scratches. On the plus side, it includes extra queen pieces, which is a useful bonus. It's a decent set

My child started playing chess and thought this board was a good fit! It is so convenient because you can carry it almost everywhere. It folds up nice and holds the chess pieces two ways either in a bag or chess piece holders. The chess board is also very light but sturdy when playing.

Overall, the product is made well. There are some problems with it not laying completely flat and wobbling a bit. I love the compact storage and the color of wood chosen!
