Nicely made; light but sturdy steel in the stress points. Much better than rubber cords that fatigue and snap…ouch. This is the one to buy and keep at home for workouts!

This is certainly NOT a "165-lb" device. I calculated that with 165 lb applied the thing will be 92 inches (7 feet, 8 inches) handle to handle.Here's why I say that: I made measurements.Using one spring, an 8-lb weight stretched the one spring from 9-1/2" (with no weight) to 26" (with 8-lb weight). So, the spring compliance constant = (26 - 9.5) inches / 8 lbs = 2.0625 inches/lb. All five springs together have a compliance constant of 0.4125 inches/lb.The unstretched device is 24" handle-to-handle. Adding, an additional 68 inches that 165 lb would add to the spring length gives us 92 inches handle to handle. (68 inches = .4125 inches / lb * 165 lb.)

It's a great addition for the money! There are plenty of videos with exercise demos on YouTube. I use it for a reverse fly and side lateral raise.

Good product. If used properly, it will definitely make a difference. I find myself using it more and more. The only thing that would make it better is the option of adding additional coils/springs as you progress. But definitely a useful item.
