I actually bought thus to use in my horse trailer to pick up fine pieces of poop. I know it's for chickens but wish it were a little wider for my use.

This does work, I wrapped mine with hardware cloth to make it work better. The handle doesn’t lock tight enough to keep it from collapsing when you have to push to get into some damp sand. We used it for a few weeks but it’s just not big enough to be efficient. I still use it regularly for small corners and other tight areas in the run but use a different product for the bulk of the work.

When I'm using it to clean it keeps sliding smaller. I got to keep trying to tighten it and it just don't stay tightened. I have a bad back and I'm still bending down because of the scooper not staying tightly and long the way I like it.

I have been getting down my knees for years recently. I was told I needed hip replacement.So I thought about that bending down came across this at Amazon and what a change in my lifestyle.No more crawling on the floor it is a fantastic well priced item to add to your home if you are a cat owner or a dog for that matter.
