Wow, to say we love this would be an understatement!!! My 25 month old son is obsessed with this! My husband said it was easy to install, and it’s great quality. It wouldn’t fit on his mountain bike but fits well on his other one that we both ride. It’s very stable and comfortable for our son and for whoever is riding with him. We don’t go on super long rides yet as his muscles build up to staying put, but my son caught on right away and asks to go ride every day! We are not nervous about him falling at all, it’s simple to ride with him on it!!

So far this seems like a great budget dupe for the Shotgun. The seat construction itself is well made and our toddler finds it comfortable. The foot pegs provide extra security and are adjustable. Even with a pseudo road bike this fit comfortably and was relatively easy to install and secure. The biggest thing to note is depending on your individual bike configuration and weight this will definitely change the balance and feel (different for each individual combo) so try it out first without the kid - once you add a danger chasing toddler imitating something from Cool Running things can get interesting no matter what kit you have.
