I bought this to be able to lock my cabinet under my bathroom sink because someone I had over once stole something from it but I didn’t want to have an ugly, obvious lock on the handles or anything. This lock works perfectly every time as opposed to ‘smart locks.’ Set up is a little confusing but not too difficult. Highly recommend!

Hidden lock!?!?! Very cool. It works really well and there's so many ways to mount them. I would recommend using the screws over just adhesive tape tho. Cabinet door no problem, sliding door no problem, Drawer no problem, anything that swings slides or opens you should be able to use these on. Perfect for keeping kids or people out but easy for you if you know what to do. I would give these about 100lbs force rating if set up properly. Obviously they are plastic so if someone wants to force them open then they probably will get thru or break the door trying.

So far I’ve used both the safety first latches for the cabinets and now the magnetic ones. I like the safety first ones because it’s easy for me to open but ultimately the magnetic ones are so much better! They don’t allow any gapping even for fingers to get into. They aren’t visible really at all unless you open the cabinet up completely and you can put the little lock wherever you want, in a drawer or even under a top cabinet space. (Thats what I did) I’m glad I’ve found these and I hope they hold up! Because it’s a nice change. Also the price is really great in my opinion. Not super expensive at all.

These worked great for the first couple weeks. Then out of nowhere the locking mechanism would sporadically fail. Luckily the cabinets I had locked with these had nothing harmful for a baby inside but it could have been bad if I did. The safety first locks are very much superior to these although a little more pricey. In my opinion it’s worth spending the extra few $$ on.

We have used many different lock mechanisms and these are by far our favorite. The grandparents even got some for their home. Like that they are easy to install and not visible. They have also withheld both our toddlers who have broken other locks in the past.

Easy enough to install and works well! Has stayed locked when my toddler is pulling on the doors.We have it installed under our kitchen sink and the “keyâ€/ magnet is on the window ledge above the sink. Works well for us.One comment and not a complaint, just something I didn’t think through -I was thinking of putting these in each bathroom and in the kitchen and possibly in the laundry room. But I would have to purchase more of the key magnets. It comes with a number of locks but not the key magnets of course so I just didn’t think that part through that I’m not going to run from one room to another grabbing the key when I need under the bathroom sink.
