Bought as a gift, out of state recipient. I asked the recipient’s parent to be honest about the quality & was told this: the wood is good quality, a little paint scraped off during assembly but not the fault of the chair, user error with a tool. It was reportedly very simple to assemble. The kiddo loves the chair.
