My front door has the type of handle these locks are for. My 2 year old has learned to unlock and easily open it. We live in front of a pond and near an extremely busy highway. With this lock I'm able to feel comfortable enough to walk into another room and other daily things. I don't have to worry when I'm in the bathroom if my toddler escaped the house. It's a very sturdy device that can handle being pulled on by little ones without falling off or breaking. It was super easy to install as well. No tools were needed at all! It keeps my toddlers from opening our lever door handles! I just wish the design were different where the rotating part is. It is really close to the handle, so when opening the door, sometimes my hand gets stuck in between. Otherwise, great product!

These locks are great. They have a push button on either side of the lock so you have to apply pressure on both sides to get the lock to release. It's great for adult hands but our toddler can't do it so that's great. I like that the lever is adjustable so it works on several handle sizes.
