I was replacing a choke cable on a 2001 Honda Foreman Rubicon TRX 500. The engineers make this a difficult task for a simple cable. Honda cables fail at the control knob where it attaches to the frame. The threads that tighten the knob into place strip easily or break. The cable was ok but the lead end was too big and needed to be trimmed down to fit into the plunger. Also the cable was a bit long. Seems to work but there is not enough friction to hold the choke open while the ATV warms up. Good value though.

There's nothing like a new cable of any type. This one fits the Honda Foreman TRX 450 es almost perfectly. It's about 3x longer than the cable I pulled of, although no way to know if it was the original as its on its 3rd owner. There's just a little slop in the cable itself, but that's kinda nice as the old one was so tight that it broke the carb choke assembly nut. Don't know why the wire clamps, the little ring clips that hold the boot in place it always so difficult but that's par for the course I suppose. Anyway, it's super smooth choke operation now, which is what I wanted. But don't forget to oil the cable with WD-40 to keep moisture out and insure continued smooth performance for a long long time.

About 10 inches shorter than claimed so had to drill a hole and move the placement of the knob but it does it's job.

Cable end is way too long. Choke knob does not fit in holder on handlebars. So much play in the cable it doesn't work.

Choke plunger was too tight also I had to open it a little when I put it on it wouldn't go around the spring so I squeezed them together and it broke the end off so I used my old 1 ,I liked the cable because it has a rubber cover to keep water out,all around a good buy for me

The replacement cable was longer than the original, but was able to loop the excess cable under the head lamp area. The plunger that came with it was very tight in the carburetor, suspect the o-ring being new was the issue. I used the original plunger and it fit well onto the new cable and the choke works fine.
