If you know what you are buying, these are the bike skewers for you. These bike skewers are made from Cr-Mo steel and T-6061 aluminum which means they are build specifically to handle the elements we expose our bikes to. Used to rehab a bike I was flipping. The color is nice and crisp and the skewers worked like they should. I would buy again.

I got these for a 90's hardtail. Fit is ok, but everything about them is super lame and cheap quality. The fit and finish looks ok from far away, but on closer inspection, these are machined poorly, and the skewers don't feel like high tensile strength steel. Tapping on them just feels like untempered cold-rolled steel. The plasticky bits on the end feel like very low-grade PET instead of HDPE or HMWP.These are cheap parts made to a price point, not to a quality standard- which is par for the course with bike parts.Better luck finding a skewer set from the '80s, '90's Shimano /Japan. These are exquisite quality, and there's a bunch out there with lot's of life left on them. My local bike store sold me a handful of used ones for $10
