Love everything about this dress. My mom has a 44" bust and ordered a Medium for her and this STILL has room on top! i would return for a small, except for the reviews that say to expect shrinkage. It still looks oversized but not sloppy (sizing down on oversized items is a great trick for busty women, by the way!)Beautiful blue/white stripe! The sleeves are a little short for her 5'7" frame but since she plans to roll the sleeves up (it's a summer dress, after all) that's not as much of an issue but just fyi.Updating - washed well, shrunk a few inches only in length. Very happy with purchase.Lightweight but looks much more expensive than it was. I WISH they made this same exact dress in solid colors, we'd buy a dozen!!!

I've worn this as a dress and swimsuit cover up, it fits the bill well enough. The fabric is a bit stiff and not breathable. It washes and dries easily. The shape is forgiving and easy to wear, I like the sleeves a lot.If you're a stylish fashionable person, I'm sure it can be accessorized in many different ways for versatility.

This is nice cotton sheeting fabric. I was pleasantly surprised with the fabric quality and was really hoping the dress would fit well.I sew and have designed clothing in the past, so I'm fairly knowledgeable about clothing construction. The problem with the fit is that the shoulders are cut on a significant slope and then into the sleeve that starts in the middle of the upper arm. The way that the shoulders are cut means that every time you move your arms, the entire body of the garment shifts considerably. The cut doesn’t allow for the fabric to move or flow along your arms properly so you’re constantly fussing with the sleeves and the body of the garment. If you get a size above what you normally wear, this might not be an issue because you’d basically be swimming in the dress anyway. This was nice and loosely cut, but the odd tapering of the shoulders irritated me enough to return it.

I love this long shirt. All I need now is a nightcap and a candlestick and I could be Scrooge!Very comfortable cover-up. Quick and easy. Not too dressy though - but I haven't tried it with a belt yet either!

I read all the reviews, which were so diverse, and they are all correct. This is a giant shirt with no shaping that will fit differently depending upon height and body type. I'm 5'2" around 130 lbs and the small is huge on me. I'll purposefully shrink it so I don't trip on the hem, which is to the floor on me. The black/white is more charcoal gray, which I like. Construction is fine, no loose threads, all the buttons attached, and the seams match. The side pockets are nice, and placed appropriately for my arm length. All that being said, this is not a flattering dress. It's fairly sheer and too much fabric for a belt; I can't imagine wearing this out and about. BUT for deck lounging, it is perfect. I have to avoid the sun, and this shirt dress, along with a big hat and a cocktail in hand, works for me.

I bought this caftan/wearable tent for my mum, who wanted something cool, light and oversized to wear after showering during the warmer months when her condo reaches scary-hot indoor temps. Unlike the issues other reviewers had regarding poor construction, the garment we received was sewn well and the buttons all securely attached, though we had to invest some time in removing stay threads, which wasn't unexpected. The fabric wasn't scratchy as some others reported, and it will likely soften over time. My mother is hoping it that it will also shrink.So many garments -- even those sold under major brand names -- are now made overseas, and in different locations (because it's always wise to diversify your supply chain), even if the manufacturers are creating the same style/model garments. As a result, sizing and quality can differ widely, and that's possibly the reason the quality of these garments is so all over the place. Anyone who's made repeat purchases of their favorite bras and knickers or other apparel has probably been disappointed in the huge quality and sizing difference from one repeat order to another.Kudos to those who shared photos where they made this otherwise shapeless garment look almost chic. My otherwise fashionable mum chose a lager size than she'd normally wear, so we had a good laugh at how it magically transformed her into a frumpy-dumpy matron. If only it had even a bit of an A-line cut instead of straight all the way from top to bottom, it might give it more movement at the hem and eliminate the ballooning effect in the midriff area. My mum is 5'5" and the hem brushes the top of her feet. And the mid-section made her look like she'd instantly developed a man's very generous beer belly. Good for a giggle, but not exactly flattering. She's hoping a very hot wash will make it shrink a bit both in width and length, because she's decided to keep it as she'll only be wearing it in private, and it should at least be something cool to wear in the summer after a shower or a swim.

Quality fabric, nicely crisp but too much, and the blue is like colour of denim. Can't beat the price. Can wear it as a dress, out and about, or as a lounger at home. As a dress it looks great with white sneakers, when doing errands; or pair with some heels and long necklaces for a summer outing and you will get many compliments. I wear a slip underneath when wearing it out - just a personal preference. I am usually 2X but ordered in 2x and 3x just in case. I'll keep both but I find this dress is TTS (true to size). The 2X is roomy enough in the bust and hips, but not overly; and looks fantastic as a dress (I'm 5'4" so it goes to just above the ankle so a longer midi). I kept the 3X for lounging at home as it's on the big side. Took a little while to arrive, but worth the wait and worth every penny. Highly recommend
