What I like most is how extremely easy it was to install. I installed on the outside but it still blocks the light during the hottest part of the day. The only downside is functionality. The shade gets is easy to let down but I often have to pull all the way down just to get it retract. The weight and quality of the shade is sturdy and is holding up nicely. Worth the value and would add to other rooms.

side of our house gets direct sun that is blinding at times, i had to keep regular blind shut to avoid it and that made it so cats couldn’t look out and i could not see dogs outside when they went out.. These blinds block the bright sun well and i can keep them up some to still see out without getting blinded when at sink.. these still has light come through on sides but, pretty much the case with all blinds.. i thought i got this blind wide enough to stop that but, i didn’t. Still it is way better than the regular blinds we have still up behind this one (incase this didn’t work out)..So my only issue with these and why 4 stars…is they pull up and down and stop where it wants to, not where you want it to stop. Sometimes it decides to not stop at all and keeps going up when i stop at area i know it normally stops.. no big deal i guess unless you are picky about how your blinds sit on your window..

I received this with the end of the box torn and missing. So when I pulled out the blind I realized I have no hardware so I can't even put it up. However, it does seem pretty nice and rolls open easy. It would block sun well. I noticed there was some specks like the paint was coming off or something by the area where it pulls down.

The shade is just what we needed, but we've received it twice without the parts you need to hang it. So, I'm returning both and moving on to something else. The first time, the box was damaged, but this time, it was intact, and the parts were still not in the box.
