I got this for a Secret Santa at Church, and she absolutely loved it. It looks nicer than some of the ones I have seen at Hallmark. I bought the 3 AA batteries and put them in it, but it does run on a usb cord too (you just have to have the usb plug which I also bought and included it in the present since I got the lantern on sale anyways). My friend turned it on and it lit up and the music played and she lit up as well. I like it has a light mode and a music/light mode. Great product. Thank you.

I wish I could give this 10 stars! It arrived beautifully packaged, even with a Christmas card. It is even more beautiful than the photo. The music is loud enough and it is lovely. Both my cat and my parrot love this snow globe. The cat loves the swirling snow and the parrot dances to the music! It is a huge hit. I highly recommend this product and this company. The delivery was lightning fast!

This is a lovely lantern that swirls sparkly water. The Christmas music is an optional switch making the lantern good year round.

I wanted a glitter globe that had a winter-type theme without screaming "Christmas." When I saw this, I liked the red lantern and the cardinals inside.This is a very well-made lantern that looks good with or without the glitter. For the short time I had it, I used the USB, and the timer worked perfectly.Even though I really liked it overall, I ended up returning it because of the glitter. Unlike most of the glitter globes in which the glitter goes up and down, the glitter in this one swirls around and around. After awhile, I got dizzy looking at it, and knew I wouldn't be able to stand it. If the glitter had been different, I would have kept it.

Was a Christmas gift. Recipients love it. Plays different songs. Can have light and motion with or without the music. The swirling of the snow is delightful, almost mesmerizing. Like watching the twinkling of Christmas tree lights, if you enjoy that. Worth the price. Works as described.
