I usually wear a 3-4x in clothing since i like loose fitting clothes so i ordered a 5x in this jacket and it fits perfect. I ordered up because i want to be able to layer and not feel so constricted underneath. I advise to size up if you are plus size and want to have room for other clothes underneath. Other than that a great jacket. The fur detaches from the hood which is nice because it’s a little thick and gets in the way of your vision and the hood also detaches if you don’t want it on. Great material. Zipper is nice. It has two so you can un-zip from the bottom or top and then has buttons to cover the zipper. It has fleece pockets that button and 2 pockets on the inside. One on your right size that has a velcro closure and one on the top left that’s long ways and zips. (See photos) Very warm. Love this jacket!

I needed a new jacket and was wary about buying online since with being a top heavy girl, zippers are my sworn enemy. As stated in many of the reviews, size up to allow for room to wear layers underneath in the event the jacket was not warm enough. At 4x it is definitely roomy, and I probably could have gotten away with a 3 or even 2x for a snugger (but still comfortable) fit. As a tall girly (6ft), the sleeves were long enough and my butt was covered by the jacket.I am still iffy on the outer material, but I will say that the jacket is warm. It was mid 30s in NJ and I was comfortable with a long sleeve tshirt underneath. Pockets are a bit awkward, and I had trouble with the double zipper and getting the top one to close the jacket, but not the end of the world. The fur trim isn't as poofy as what the picture depicts, but some brushing and fluffing and it is presentable.

Product arrived with a defective zipper. Therefore, cannot wear. Highly disappointing. Since we are now in the throes of a winter storm.

This coat is water repellent. It fits good to size. It is comfortable. The zipper zips good. Good quality for the money. Pockets are just right. The fur on the hood zips off. I removed the fur from around my face because it hung down in front of my eyes, and I couldn't see where I was going. With the fur off the hood is perfect. The material is like a shiny soft plastic. I get lots of compliments on the coat. I wear it when ever the weather forecast calls for rain. I really like it. It is a good length. The length is inbetween my hips and knees.

I love the double zipper. My last two winter coats split the zipper when I went out and had to bend down to pick up my dogs business. It became too snug around gThe hips. The style of the Jacket was just what I wanted but the double zipper was what sold me on this particular one. I actually got two coats. One navy and this one is black. The Royce was good and I planned on buying on e in August and one I. September but they cut the price by 50% so I bought both at once. They are light weight. But will be warm this winter. The zipper was a little difficult to get started but I’ll get it down. Then the double zipper would art will allow me to fit, or squat with ease whe. It’s zipped up at the bottom. I love the color.

Pros: Very warm coat. Attractive color. Nice deep pockets. Wind resistance is great.Cons: Hood is huge. Material wrinkles easily. Few issues with the zipper: it is suited for a left handed person; flap is on the right so I have to pull up with my left hand and it is awkward. Has unnecessary double pull tabs which makes it difficult to line up sometimes. Pull tabs are metal, zipper is plastic - should be all metal in my opinion. Little right in he armpit area but overall a decent fit.Value for money: not a terrible price, but there are definitely improvements that should be made. Of course...this is NOT made in the USA. Made in China, yet the company stresses it is an American company. I bought a similar coat that was definitely not true to size, but once I received this coat, it was evident that they are the exact same brand operating under different storefronts that slap a "US" in their name to fool people into thinking their products are made in the United States. This is unfortunate and in my opinion, a scam.

I absolutely love this coat! I am moving to a state with snow and cold weather. It is really cozy and I look forward to wearing it.
