After about 8 months of using these I have come to the conclusion that they not only look cool but they last a long time. I wrote my first review before I really gave these a good test and I liked them then but I have a better idea of what they do and how they perform now. Most felt washers would have been falling apart or disfigured within 8 months of constant gigs and practices, these still look new except for the lettering is getting wearing off a bit but no big problem there. I have also noticed that they cut down the stand vibrations and noises adding some clarity to my cymbals. They are a bit pricey compared to a lot of cymbal washers but for the durability and the difference in sound they are worth it. I use the orange chromatics series as the bottom washer and they work great, I even use one on my ride without any problems it just formed to the cymbal but still functions the same.

I found these to be really consistent, and that they allow my cymbals to resonate a little more freely. I don't know if I would call them a great value but I like having them on all my cymbal stands. They work great with my cymbal stands and I feel like they're much better than the stock felts from DW (too hard) or Yamaha (too soft).I didn't get them for the color, but it's a nice pleasant purple shade, and their other colors are good too.

Cympads work great for me. I like them better then felts to hold and protect my cymbals. I have the 40, 50, 60, 70mm, and hi-hat set. I use the 70mm for a SKB cymbal case. The 40mm are on my cymbal stands and i use the hi-hat set too. The 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm seem softer then the 40mm, not as firm as the hi-hat set.

Look great on both drum kits I own and I’m after more. They “grip†both my 24†Mega RockRide and smaller China Type in place where I need them, but without choking the sound. Got 3 sets and definitely getting more.
