Overall looks good, it fit well and happy with the appearance. The retainer clips it came with are okay, it does NOT come with the mounting screws. It was easy to install and everything lined up. My previous one (OEM) broke off while driving, this time I also tied it to the hood with a small paracord, needed that peace of mind, hope this one lasts for a while.

This review is for the "Chrome Front Upper Hood Bulge Molding Grille Trim" purchased through amazon.com.This aftermarket trim piece was less than 1/3 the cost of the OEM part. It fits well. However, the visible surfaces have some shallow creases and indentations that are visible and vary depending on the viewing angle. The chrome plating is continuous and I didn't note any missing chrome.Considering the cost of this part I am OK that it is not as smooth as the original it replaced. Unless it is viewed with a critical eye I don't think the unevenness is that noticeable. My truck is not a show truck. If you are the type that polishes the lug nuts when you wash your truck, you may not be as satisfied with this replacement as I am.

If you're wanting an absolute perfect fit and a perfect chrome finish then look no further and go to your local Toyota dealership and order an OEM replacement! This is not an exactly perfect grill piece, but for the price it ABSOLUTELY IS!!! This one is about a third of the price of an OEM replacement and will look great on your truck if you're needing to cover up the hood openings with a stock look or even to help it look better for selling/trade-in. There is a very small gap at each top corner against the hood but not really noticeable unless you baby your truck... If you baby your truck THAT MUCH, then stop looking for inexpensive aftermarket parts for it and buy the real deal, you tightwad cheapskate! This one looks great for the price and to be honest, the plastic brackets and clips that secure it to the hood are designed better than factory. Already been through two factory grill bulges and will only buy these now, since limbs and brush at my hunting land seems to keep breaking mine.

I received the Truck Bulge part & had the Toyota dealership add the part to the Truck. The part does not line up with the grill flush on the passenger side. I have disclosed the driver side pic where it does fit flush. I would not purchase a part again & I will most likely have the part removed by Toyota which will require me to purchase another Truck bulge part through the dealership.
