Its aluminum. It's pretty rigid and it works fine but its also nothing special when you look at it. It's also reasonably lightweight which ended up being pretty nice. However, it is aluminum, not a hard forged aluminum either... seemed pretty raw to me and the finish is not especially tough either.For light duty or just something you need in a pinch I'd call this a good value. It does what it needs to do. For anything else, spend a little bit more. This gets all five stars because in terms of value it does what you ask of it for much less money.

There isn’t too much to say about this product, but it works well and provides a solid foundation for me to mount a camera and an external mic or light. I’ve been using this for approximately a year before writing this review and I have no plans to buy anything else to replace it; it works.

Use this bracket to mount on a tripod for holding two video cameras. These are used for a close-up view and a wide angle view from the same location that feeds into our church's ATEM Mini Pro video switcher that then goes out to YouTube as a live stream. (Also have a 3rd angle view into the ATEM.) The tripod adapter holds things securely and firmly with out the expense of a second tripod. Good value for the money.

If you plan on attaching your camera to this like I did, forget it. I was planning to set this up for macro photography for outdoors. After receiving this and trying to put my Olympus on it could not. my Manfroto quick release screw is to short Now, I have to take a trip to Ace Hardware and see if they have a screw or something that will work. Otherwise, this is a will made product. Jim

Worked perfectly, mounted a mirrorless camera with light lens and a DSLR with 70-200 2.8 and with a solid tripod it didn't even tilt. Just note, the two 1/4" screws on the two sides have no threading on the underside of them, so if for some reason you want to attach something below the bar, you'll have to replace the included 1/4" screw or flip it over.

Center screw could be longer to allow mounting of camera and two lights or one light and microphone.

I think I really like this. I bought it for my ham radio hobby- I want to put an antenna on my tripod. I want to do Satellite Communication with the hobby. With this device, I can also put my phone on it as well, which has the satellite tracking program on it. Thank you!!

Very good quality build, reliable to fix two devices onto a Tripod. I use it for a Webcam and a Mobile camera, in stereo vision, so it records a mobile video and stream a webcam. Or you can attach two mobile phones using a additional Mobile phone clamp. Or Flash! Great purchase.NOTE: This is only a metal bar, you need to purchase a tripod or Mobile phone clamps separately.

Cercavo una staffa per il treppiedi per effettuare delle riprese di un campo da calcio a 5 con due gopro, perfetto per l'utilizzo visto che la rotazione è regolabile, inoltre molto stabile.
