Well this was definitely my kids favorite stocking stuffer this year! This was the first thing they wanted to play with after unwrapping all their gifts. So fun! You can't go wrong with kinetic sand, especially in little containers and especially different colors!

My daughters use this on rotation in place of slime and playdough. Somehow this is less messy than slime so I prefer it even though technically it is sand.It's fun and easy clean up. So it's a win for me.

We have only used this sand and the big name brand of this type of sand so far but we really love this one! We’ve had a few colors of the big name sand for over a year but we have noticed we don’t use them anymore now that we have tried Chuckle and Roar. It seems softer, fluffier and stretchier. It also is easier to clean up. I grab a chunk and tap the small pieces of sand my toddler has thrown around and it picks them up so easily. I realize the other brand does this too but not as well as Chuckle and Roar.Our son has some sensory hurdles we’re working on and we’ve noticed that he will play with this sand more often and for longer than the big name version. My guess is because this is softer, fluffier and not as grainy/rough feeling. I highly recommend picking up a pack of this and trying it out. You may be pleasantly surprised like we were! And the price is awesome!

This Chuckle & Roar Grand Sand is just as nice a quality as brand name Kinetic Sand. You get three colors in plastic storage containers. Grand Sand holds it's shape well in toy molds and plastic shape cutters. When used on a tray, this is a low mess sand for kids to play with. To keep the sand nice, I always have my kids wash their hands before playing with it. If it starts to dry out, you knead a small amount of water into it.
