Aluminum Oxide Discs are the good choice for metal grinding or polishing, and wood sanding. This wedge-shaped grain is tough (fracture-resistant) and well-suited to most substrates. They're a good first choice when working with metal or heavy wood paint removal.
The abrasive dish is more elastic and suitable for plane and side grinding, and can also increase the plastic links on the back.

For the money these sander discs aren't bad. But dont ever think they are ever going to be as good as a 3m disc. They wear out pretty fast. Next time i need some im just gonna spend the money for 3m discs.

I burn through a lot of these discs and expected little for the price, but these are really nice discs. They last a good while, are consistent high quality, run true, are flat, not potato chip shaped etc.There are some very expensive discs that are better, but these work as well or better than standard 3M discs that are several times the price. I would highly recommend these and if I can I will buy many more
