I use these for my elderly mother to let me know when she needs me. I originally bought 2 call buttons and 1 receiver and it worked great. By taking the receiver outside, I'd forget and leave it outside, so I ordered 2 additional receivers and everything paired with no problem. I placed one in a ziplock bag and leave it under the covered patio, have 1 my bedroom (for overnight), and 1 in the den. I placed call buttons by her lift chair, on her bed rail, and in the bathroom. This is a great, easy system to operate and trust me - you WILL hear it! The only thing I don't like is there are only a couple of choices regarding the chime sounds when the call button is pressed and one is a siren! NO! You also have an option for the receivers to vibrate.

Not ready to invest in one of the services, as my mother and I were home together 24/7. She could still get around the house fine, but might occasionally need assistance in the bathroom, but not be aware until in the moment. With this system, all she had to do was press the button and my monitor sounded. She no longer had to yell for help from the other end of the house.This worked great for our needs and I consider it money well spent.

I just received 2 pairs of these wireless call buttons/alert systems. They take triple A batteries (included) and the instructions are easy to follow. They work! We have one button and one transmitter downstairs, and the other pair upstairs. It's a 2500 square foot house. I can press the button downstairs and hear it upstairs, and vice versa. The best thing about it is that each button can be paired to both transmitters. The buttons can also have their own ringtones. So, both transmitters will go off and play the same ringtone for one button, and so forth. This is really useful when you've got more than one person in the house who may need help. The SOS button is large and easy to press. I'm hoping these last for a while.

My mom has brain cancer and is not able to walk well. She took a fall and if it was wasn’t for this I can’t imagine what could have happened. She now calls us on it whenever she walks now. It’s very loud so you can hear it from far away which is good. Also works from long distances which is a plus, if you’re out across the street or even down the rd. Highly recommend!

This is the second alert I have bought, the first one (another brand) did not work well and fell apart inside in less than five months. I like this one as it feels solid and well built, especially considering the cost. The alert sound is loud enough to hear and wake me at night. The plastic clip on my first one kept falling off and I solved the problem by getting a flip phone holster. Therefore, having developed a distrust of plastic clips, I removed the clip when I got this one and keep it on my belt in the flip phone holster. I will write another review on this item after I have had it for a few months - - hoping it lasts longer than the one of the other brand. Five stars so far.

Range is poor and not as advertised. In an open space with no obstructions it will not consistently page at more than 10 or 15 feet. This is being returned.
