I searched and searched for a pair of Adirondack chairs. I read several reviews on many different brands, styles and materials. I read the ratings and compared prices, comfort and sturdiness. I decided to buy these after reading the reviews and product description. These were also on sale, so I ended up buying a pair of these chairs for the price of one of the other brands. First, they were packaged well in a sturdy cardboard box. Each piece was labeled and assembly was easy. They provide the basic tools to assemble the chair, but I used my own tools for faster assembly. It took us about 25 minutes to do the first chair and about 15 minutes to do the next. The chair is very well built and very sturdy. It feels just a bit on the plastic side, but that's OK with me. Each piece is thick and resembles Trex. They are very comfortable and the only thing we will add is a small back pillow at the very back of the chair for added comfort. The drink/cup holder is an added bonus and works great. All in all, I would definitely recommend these chairs to anyone.

Really good quality at a bargain price. Not difficult to assemble, but it definitely takes more than the 15 minutes in the description. Without a helper, first one took 90 minutes, second 60 min. Because it folds after assembly, it can be assembled indoors then folded to take outside. Goes together perfectly and nothing sharp is on the outside. Recommend using your crescent wrench instead of the flimsy thin wrench included. It is a heavy chair, but when folded, it can be carried by gripping an arm or leg. There are steel pins attached to chains that lock the chair in open position once it is opened so the legs won't move. To insert the pins, it helps to move the back of the chair slightly to align the holes. To remove the pins, move the chair back forward or back to release pressure. The gray color is a good neutral, and it is material that should not need painting.

I bought two white chairs, and I must say that I'm impressed. They arrived well packaged. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The chairs went together easily in about 1/2 hour each. All tools needed for assembly were included, though they were (of course) very low quality. The hardware was all of decent quality. The nuts were all stainless steel locknuts. However, the threaded inserts used where screws go into blind holes don't have any sort of locking mechanism, don't appear to be stainless steel, and some of them are used as pivots. I suspect I will have to tighten those screws once in a while, and I worry a little about corrosion of the inserts in my coastal environment. The chairs are comfortable for my 5'11", 210 lb. frame. They are not hard to fold and unfold, but are a bit heavy to carry around (normal for plastic wood) and don't fold very compactly. It was easy to assemble them indoors and carry them out folded. We have two similar chairs handmade from cedar, and these feel about as sturdy and comfortable and should not require annual painting. If the finish on these holds up reasonably well, then they were a bargain.Recommended.

Chose these as opposed to much higher priced chairs and glad I did. They assembled easy, are attractive and durable. I have several pieces of high priced similar furniture around my pool (in blazing FL sun). These don't have the "real" wood look like the pricy ones, but they're holding up really well.

I saw a site that rated the top 5 ADK chairs, and these got top marks. The design is great, but they are 'plastic', however not the flimsy plastic, they basically used plastic boards, not the worst thing. The instructions are great, easy to follow, but I did run into a few quality issues, on BOTH of the chairs I bought. Some holes were not drilled completely (easy DIY fix), and one nut was missing requiring them to send me the part and a tool to install it. Not ideal, but their customer service was great, but issues I feel should not have made it to the customer, which I voiced to them. As a result, it took me a week to put them together as I had to wait for the additional items. Time will tell how sturdy they are, or if they fade, they feel comfortable. I wouldn't go sitting on the arms or anything, but I wouldn't do that to a wooden chair either. People have to be reasonable with what they expect from a chair of this price. I feel it is a good value, looks great, is comfortable, and with some common sense (I know, I’m assuming a lot), it should last a while. And they do smell, as others have noted, I had to assemble them outside as it is a bit overwhelming. I have not noticed too bad while using them though.

They weren't too difficult to assemble, it took a little elbow grease and patients. They look really good around the fire pit and I love the cup holders! The color is true to the color in the picture too. As a 170 lb person I find them sturdy and comfortable but I'm not sure they'd fit a 250 lb+ person well.

Not as easy to put together as I expected but they were worth the effort. I like the cup holder attached to the arm. The chairs are good quality. They were purchased for the deck of a rental property and I’m hopeful they will hold up in the sun and weather. Nice feature is they are resin and won’t need paint or maintenance to keep them looking good. They sit comfortably and are easy to get out of. Can hose off to clean and I like the gray color. Would recommend.

Love these chairs. I have four of them around my pool area. I have had them in the harsh Florida sun for many months with no discoloration. The seats are well-built, comfortable, and look great. The classic Adirondack style compliments many outdoor spaces.
