I wasn’t sure that these collars were going to be effective to redirect it dogs from their persistent interest in the new dog next door (which sounded a lot like barking, hahaha), but these have really worked out well. Since I’m working at home, I can keep the remote with me and go through an escalation of redirects available on the collar: starting off with a simple beep and if that doesn’t work, bump it up to a beep + vibration and if that doesn’t work, go to the beep + citronella - which almost always works! The remote is convenient because I typically don’t have to leave my desk.I also want sure how easy it would be to manage the remote - which controls both collars (select which one you want to control with a slider on the side) in the heat of the moment. I was afraid, I’d be blasting the wrong dog, but that too is pretty easy to get used to.I am really quite happy with how easy and effective these collars are - and also happy that my dogs seem to react to just the beep - most of the time.Battery life has been excellent; it would be great to have some indication on how much citronella is remaining in the collars.

I love these remote collars. They've made an immense difference in my dogs' obedience, especially with regard to barking. It's nice that there are two collars, one for each dog. It's easy to switch between the two, unlike some devices I considered. The rechargeable batteries hold their charge for weeks, which is a good feature. So why only three stars? Firstly, there's no way to attach a lanyard to the control. When you have to carry it everywhere by hand, it inevitably gets set down somewhere and, just as inevitably, you sometimes forget where the stupid thing is, and it can take forever to locate it. I finally crocheted a pouch with a thin neck strap to keep it in. A plastic loop at the top of the device wouldn't cost the manufacturers much and would *greatly* increase the convenience.Second problem. The collars turn themselves off now and again. The one on my yappier dog only needs to be turned back on every week or two. The one for the other dog shuts off after about 24 hours. Luckily he's predictable enough that I usually know when he's apt to need correction, so I can often turn it on before I actually need it.Problem three. These collars supposedly have three functions: beep, beep plus vibration, beep plus citronella spray. The first two seem to work well. My Cavaliers aren't terribly tough, so the beep usually does the job. I use the vibration occasionally, if someone's feeling obstinate. The citronella, spray, however, is worthless. I've used citronella bark collars and they give a spray strong enough that the dog definitely knows that he's getting a correction. Unfortunately, the newer models are more cheaply made and give false corrections, which left my more timid (and noisy) dog in hysterics. So I thought a collar that let me control the spray would be a good choice. Right as far as the collar's effectiveness, but wrong as far as the spray goes. It's so feeble the dogs literally don't notice it. As I said before, these collars work well for my boys, so I don't miss having a functional spray, but I object to paying for a three function collar that only has two functions. If they corrected the problems I have addressed here I would give a 5* review. If they don't, when these die of old age I will probably buy this set again, unless someone else is making a better one, because it does work well for me- when I can find the remote and when I have remembered to manually turn the collars on. 😉Update- I've just added a star for great customer service from the seller. After I posted this I got an offer of a free replacement with another model (P520) that doesn't have the problems in this one. I'd've felt dishonest accepting because this collar does work for me, but I wanted to acknowledge their generosity.

I had a single one of these, this brand, that was great for my GSD. We have two now and at first the new boy wasn't a barker, but then he started. So....I bought this one that has two collars and one controller for both. Once you figure out which one is one and which one is two (I wrote numbers on each collar with a permanent marker) it's super easy to use. I've tried a couple other brands and had issues (no spray coming out, drains battery too fast) and so far this brand has been the best for me. Highly recommend.

Initially I thought this was going to be a great product. Worked perfectly the first time and seemed helpful. Unfortunately the product will not charge properly. I’ve tried charging it, it looks charged and then when you try to use it you just get the signal for the battery being too low to function. Complete waste of money.

I got two of these one for each of my dogs. Setting them both up on one remote was easy, but I was a little sad that it excluded the other remote. Still it’s another remote that I can sync them to if we lose the first one. This has helped us to get our dogs to bark less. Sometimes they just need the warning beep and they settle down. They do occasionally manage to turn them off, but I think that may be because my dogs are on the bottom end of the useable size. The battery life is really good, I have yet to have an issue with them running out of battery. I’ve had to change the remote once in the two months that I’ve had it, and usually charge the collars once a month when I give them their bath.

Remote control is nice if you can push it in time to use it. It was better then the automatic collars I had that just went off randomly but pretty hard to use 1 remote for 2 dogs when you have to switch it back and forth, if there both barking. Then trying to always have the remote ready and in hand at the perfect times when they barking was not realistic. Also trying to hold there leashes and anything else. This was not the most effective way to get them to stop barking. Then having to charge everything is a pain in the butt especially if you have dogs that bark a lot. Depending on your situation might be better for 1 dog use and for certain situations like walking only. But for dogs that bark all day was not realistic.

I'm giving this the benefit of the doubt, as I bought it to replace one that developed a fault after 2 days. The spray became stuck, discharging while refilling and not stopping until it had discharged completely. However, it was recommended to me by a friend who has been using one on her two dogs without any problems, so I decided to replace it with the same. My dog has effectively trained me to call her back to a whistle for the reward of her ball - trouble is, I need the whistle recall to be 100% effective as an "emergency stop" button, so reward every time she responds. Problem with this is that, because she's not great with other dogs, I can't allow her to get close to them and she's cottoned on to this, actively looking for distant dogs and walkers to race towards, knowing that my nerve will break before hers and I'll blow the whistle, at which point she'll come hurtling back for her ball! She therefore needs to learn that "no" means "no", so I bought this collar for the citronella spray function. It has worked a treat - I've only needed to use it twice and I'm already able to allow her to remain off lead with other dogs around without her even trying to run off, and she' seems more relaxed and less reactive generally. So, used correctly (and if you're not sure how, do consult a dog trainer for help) it seems an excellent bit of kit. It has a good range and a choice of functions. If I'm hyper-critical I would prefer the citronella spray to be controlled by the slightly larger middle (vibrate) button, but that's because I am using that function most at the moment, and a loop and lanyard or wrist strap would make carrying and handling it much easier than having to either hold it all the time or grope around in a pocket, risking inadvertently pressing one of the buttons when needed. I can recommend this collar.

Love this collar, works amazing, only kinda complaint is the collar turns off after a day and needs to be reactivated by pressing the on button again. However, i am imagining this is a power save feature, and it does last, only charged once in the last many weeks so far, its still going. So worth the inconvenience.Dog responds very very well to the beeps, only had to use the spray 2 times so far, only on the first day, lol.Great buy, does exactly what it is meant to.
