I live on the Northern California coast....and we have many many (many many, repeat endlessly) days of cold, wet, foggy weather. This, combined with the salt in the air, does wonders for metal in the backyard. After going through three heaters (they'd oxidize out...not from overuse, but from salt air), I purchased this cover. GREAT move, as after each use (and letting the heater cool down) I cover it up....and after a year, the heater still looks brand new. Great quality, easy to put on and take off.Absolutely worth it if you need to protect your patio heater from the elements.

I love this cover although I have just recently received it. It blends in with its one color. It fits perfectly, and I was worried about fit as I checked out the various covers that are available. This one is really big enough at the top for a heater with a 36 inch diameter heater reflector; mine is 34 inches. It is plenty big enough at the bottom also and tall enough.I did learn a way to install it. First open up all the way, the zippers; the one around the top and the vertical one along the tall shaft. Then roll the heater back on its wheels and set it either on the ground or on a table/box. Then put the upper part of the cover around the reflector and zip that zipper up. Then, raise the heater back up and pull the cover around the bottome of the heater and start that zipper. This cover has a nice velcro cover over the bottom zipper startup section so it is covered from rain and it makes it easy to hold on to as you zip up the vertical zipper.As I have not had the cover on even 24 hours, I can't comment on longevity, but it is an excellent cover at a terrific price from Amazon.

You need to cover your $100 heater or it will rust, this does the job. Fits very well and tight around the base. The zipper is not top quality but this cover should last a few years. Not too difficult to put on. I lean the top of the heater (just below the heater control) over against the top of the deck rail, zip the top zipper around the reflector, stand the heater back up, zip the vertical zipper up and done.
