This is a great fire pit cover, especially at the price point (I paid mid-20's for it).- Durability: We have had this cover on our fire pit for about 15 months, through two Mid-Atlantic summers, and a winter that saw 36 inches of snow piled on top of it. Our fire pit lives out exposed to the elements except for this cover, and it has stayed dry through all of it. The cover has held up remarkably well. It's made of very tough fabric, which is still quite sturdy and strong, and the elastic underneath is still stretchy and tight.- Ease of use and fit: The cover is easy to put on an take off. we purchased the 44" cover and it fits our 35" round fire pit perfectly, with coverage over the wire domed cover and wrapping down around the bowl of the fire pit. We don't really used the buckles at all. Possibly, if you have a larger fire pit, you'd need the buckles b/c you wouldn't have quite as much wrap around (or buy a larger cover). We have had wind that has knocked our deck chairs all over the place, and this cover stayed put.- Waterproofness - In terms of keeping the fire pit dry (the cover's main job) - it does the job: sometimes, we like to keep a fire laid and ready to go in the fire pit, to save time when we really just need to be making s'mores. This cover lets that happen b/c the wood and kindling, and even the newspaper, stay nice and dry. (LifeProTip - for a great homemade fire starter, stuff dryer lint in toilet-paper rolls and coat in melted candle wax, and let dry. a perfect start, every time)- Appearance: The picture shows the (original) colors of the cover very well. After 15 months, our cover is starting to look a bit worn. It doesn't get a lot of full sun where it is, so I haven't noticed the fading some reviewers have mentioned, but that light tan color on the top does seem to hold onto some darker, streaky stains. This is not that important to me; I sort of like the weathered look,and in all fairness, we have not tried to clean it so it may be that it would clean up and look like new again, so I'm not deducting a star - just wanted to put that out there for those who may be concerned about those things - maybe you'd want to look for a darker color cover, or figure out how to clean it.- Summary Definitely recommend this item if you wish to keep you fire pit dry in all weather, for several seasons in a row.

This is heavy duty and well made. This is our 2nd one because the sun eventually fades the material and later the fabric starts breaking down. But we're happy with how long it lasts being outdoors, without protection 24/7.

I bought a fire pit that is a bit larger than some that my neighbors purchased. If you are having several friends around the fire pit then larger is for you! But with the purchase of a larger fire pit comes the problem of finding a good cover for it. This one fits the bill nicely. The elastic cord around the bottom makes for a snug fit.As others have stated in their reviews you won't want this particular cover if you are looking for something that extends all the way to the ground. The picture for this product is accurate. It fits snugly around the bowl of the fire pit and no farther. I have no problem sliding it on. It is waterproof and snug - no problems with wind.And the price was right. It works great.

I bought this cover for the UniFlame WAD820SP 34-Inch Slate & Marble Firepit and it fits perfectly. It is heavy duty, very well made, snug and won't blow off. It does have a smell to it but since it will be outside it won't matter. Time will tell how long it will hold up but looks like it will last a long time. I would recommend this cover.**Update -9/15/13 I am buying the 60" cover for the 34" Slate & Marble Firepit since I like to prepare a fire right after I clean the bowl so there is a ready-made fire when I want one. The larger cover should allow enough room to stack the wood in the firepit along with the dome on top.The UniFlame cover is still in good condition over a year later after leaving outside year-round in the New England weather. It is somewhat dirty but it keeps the firepit dry and also any wood you may store inside it.

Die Abdeckung von Classic Accessories kommt eingeschweißt in einer Plastiktüte ins Haus. Was uns als erstes auffiel und gefiel sie riecht nicht nach Farbe oder Chemie.Obwohl sie sehr robust wirkt, ist sie gar nicht so schwer und dank der beiden Griffe kann man sie prima handhaben beim Abdecken oder Abnehmen von der Feuerstelle oder vom kleinen runden Gartentisch, für die wir sie nutzen.Denn Dank der Form und des Designs ist sie auch prima zum Schutz für Tische geeignet mit einem Durchmesser bis zu 70cm.Die Abdeckung ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Weder im Stoff noch bei den Nähten oder dem praktischen Gummizug am an den beiden Seiten mit dem man sie noch gut verzurren kann, so dass sie auch gut hält, kann man Fehler entdecken.Zu dem sind da noch zwei praktische Gurte mit Schnell-Verschluss-Schnallen zum festziehen mit denen man sie an den Beinen zusätzlich sicher befestigen kann. So kann sie auch bei einem Sturm nicht so einfach weg fliegen.Sie besteht aus 100% Polyester. Außen hat man robusten Wasser-abweisenden Stoff und innen eine glatte Beschichtung.Das Wasser perlt einfach ab und läuft herunter, dringt aber nicht ein.Fazit: Egal ob im Sommer zum Schutz vor Regen, Schmutz und anderen Witterungseinflüssen oder im Winter zum Schutz beim Einlagern und für Feuerstelle, Grill oder Tisch, die Hülle schützt sehr einfach, praktisch und gut.
