The pocket watch is very, very nice but my mother has macular degeneration and can’t see the hands. She is able to see the numbers but not the hands so I have to return it. If I needed a pocket watch, I would definitely keep it for myself.

Not a bad-looking little watch. I am a watchead. I generally wear vintage mechanical Hamiltons and Bulovas for dress and casual. But when it is time for greasy, percussive work in tight places I need a cheap, expendable pocket watch that I can attach to my overall chest pocket and leave my wrists free. This is it. The day I forget, leave it on the overall, and it goes through the washer: I will cuss, but I won't cry.It is almost too small. It has a tiny quartz movement, a thin plastic crystal, with no gaskets or sealing whatsoever. Its days are numbered. Since it will not be exposed to light (it's a POCKET watch), I would not hold your breath about luminosity. The chain is ok, maybe an inch too short. It is a toy, not a timepiece. Buy two, keep one for a spare.

I needed a cheap pocket watch and that's what this is. Looks and feels cheap. My biggest issue is the wind knob easily pops into the time set mode and I have to frequently rest the time. Otherwise it tells time and fits in my pocket.
