Added shortening to my marshmallow fondant. Lubed cylinder with shortening and spun away! Soooo much easier than the hobby lobby plundge version. Cylinder of this one holds more as well. Wish I bought this a long time ago!

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’m using pottery clay, and this works perfectly. If you’re using polymer clay, you’ll need to warm and soften your clay first (which you’d need to do before using any tool on it). I used the dies with the smallest holes to make hair for teeny tiny gnomes, and this tool had no problems at all handling my clay.

Love the tool. Lost my previous sets discs. It's way cheaper to replace entire kit than just replace the discs

The product works very well making shapes , however the clay came out stained. It was dark . Something inside I guess the metal stained the clay. Happy I was trying with pink and not with a lighter color. Thinking about returning it.
