For 3 days I sang the praise of these suspenders. I could cram my pockets full of tools, bend and squat and move and sit and they did not slip off nor come unfastened a single time. On day 3 I went to the hardware store and when I took my seat belt off in the car, the left suspender front fastener flew apart. I found the two pieces and by looking at the good fastener was able to tell how to put it back together, but it would not stay togetheras the upper tooth part would slide out of the holes. I went home and got my vice grips out and bent the holder closer together and all has been well so far. I think the seat belt may have hung slightly on the suspender fastener and twisted it a bit causing to spread and come apart. You will have to look at the fasteners for this to make any sense to you, I am sure. Now, if this metal is strong enough, it should not bend from such a slight tug and all will be well. If the metal is weak it will spreadand come apart again. Only time will tell. If it had not been for this, I would have given it a 5. If all goes well I will revise review. UPDATED AND REVISED POST. January 20, 2015.I want to say, that these suspenders have served me well through the summer gardening and yard work. Though they are showing a small bit of wear, they keep my pants up and do not let go. They have not come apart as they did on one occasions earlier. I look forward to another summer of wearing them when I work. I do not wear them much at any other time, as I have regular suspenders for that. These babies are industrial strength and I am well pleased with them now.

I have used a few different brands but like theses ones the most. The back clips attach to elastic material allowing for a wide range of motion. The longer, over shoulder, straps are made from a heavy duty man-made material. This, I believe allows for greater stability and consistent support.This is the third pair I have owned 2 are still in use. The first finally gave our after years of wear.

OK, guys have nipples too. The front part (everything past the leather) is a very stiff weave - I had to move them well away from my nipples to avoid having them cut in (hard). That said, they are also very durable, the clasps are functional and hold well. The elastic is on the back straps below the leather only, and seems to work well. I bet these would hold up a reasonably apportioned tool belt as well as they do my carpenter jeans with square, leatherman, large tape and razor knife in them.Added plus: Suspenders with no belt = much more comfort for those of us with no hindquarters to support the weight in our pants without cinching up our belts like a python killing it's prey!If plumbers wore these they wouldn't need longer shirts!

Look more comfortable than are in reality to wear. Only the shorter section of the straps that go to the back section of your pant are elastic. The longer section of strap is made of a cheapish non elastic plastic. I found the plastic straps to be a bit too slippery for my shoulders and needed to adjust the suspenders often because of slippage. Also after only wearing a few times I found that the plastic strap was piling in a one spot.On the positive side these braces have very strong buckle grips (or whatever you call them). The straps appear to be very strong as well.Good work suspenders but not so good general wearing suspenders.

They are a nice 2 inch wide suspender. They will suit me well. The only surprise was that ONLY the back straps, after the leather logo, is elastic. I was expecting the entire strapping to be elastic.

Not really a suspender guy, I just wear them when riding my motorcycle, to keep the wind out of my asscrack.They do hold your pants up, look decent, and I think they'll last a good while.

Super stuff. Really heavy duty and looks good specially on heavy men as it does not look too wuzzy or small. Excellent clamps that snap shut like a croc. Adjusting the length is a bit tedious but once you get the size, the rest is a breeze

These suspenders appear to well made with good, strong clips for fastening to work pants. The fact that the only elastic part is in the two back supports means that they stay in place and are quite comfortable. I no longer need a belt and the pants remain in position.

Desde que los sacas de su empaque se ve que son de uso rudo. Funciona muy bien aunque no los recomiendo con ropa mas frágil, ya que se podrÃa maltratar. Son para usarse con ropa de trabajo. Ajustan bien incluso para alguien de mi talla (180cm 135kg)
