These are really strong rings and snap together very tight. I have no worries that they will come undone.I used these 1.5 inch rings to bind half (400 pages) of an 800-page sheet music book, which was in a comb plastic binder. The comb binder was not strong enough to hold the book and pages were going to tear, plus the book was too bulky and heavy for my music stand on my stage piano.These rings actually were small enough to go right through the comb binder holes, and I put one ring about every three holes.Tip if you try this: I divided the 400 pages into three piles and put them in the rings one pile at a time. (with holes this small it worked better). If you have larger holes, you could probably do the whole 400 pages at once.

I'm so happy. wasn't sure if would work for what I had in mind. My drapes have rod type loops and fit directly on rod. But, it was not a smooth operation to open and close them, which frustrated me every day. I wondered if these binder rings would work. I had to stich the loops at the halfway point to allow for distance to rod. It worked perfectly. I used thirty for three drapes. Just goes to show there's more than one way to use a book ring!

I purchased these to make small Macrame plant hangings. They work great, and aren’t too easy nor too difficult to open. The price is great as well!

I ordered these primarily for my classroom to use for small teacher-made booklets, so students can practice their math and language arts skills. They appear to be made well, sturdy, and close securely. I also plan to use them to combine prayer cards and scripture study cards at home and church, and I think they will work very well for that as well. I think this is a very good price for 100 of them, and there should be enough for the rest of the year. Considering the quality and price, if I need more in the future I'll be buying these book rings.

I bought these to hang my purses, and they did the trick! Most were perfect strength. In anything mass produced, you occassionally get a dud, so I was expecting that. I've only had one that didn't stay closed. A few were a little tight, but that was fine for my purpose. We'll see how they do over time, but so far, so good!

When I try out new color schemes for a painting, I make an accumulation of color swatches on scrap pieces of canvas, showing the different pigments used, along with color swatches indicating by size the proportion of each pigment to the particular hue combination. Once dry, I keep these canvas sheets around the studio for reference. The note rings and my three-hole punch enable me to organize these sheets into books so I don't go crazy looking for all the related sheets.
