Closemate socks are soft, comfortable, and feature a cushioned bottom that provides excellent support, making them ideal for all-day wear. However, the elastic at the top is too tight, which can feel restrictive and leave marks, especially for those who prefer a more relaxed fit. My son is a lacrosse player and loves that they stay in place. The breathable mesh has also helped prevent his feet from getting too sweaty. While the comfort and quality are impressive, a looser elastic design would significantly improve the overall experience.

I was trying to find a replacement for Addidas high ankle socks. Mine are worn out and I was unable to find any at a retailer, or on line. I found these socks and took a chance. I am very pleased with their qualilty, the look, and definitely the comfort.

I though these socks were going to be disappointing, made in China and all, but these socks turned out to be fantastic to wear, they have a great sole which keeps you from sliding around on wood or tile floors and are extremely comfortable to wear and are nicely cushioned for gym or running socks. I've worn them for both and they feel great on my feet. They do NOT shrink after washing and are a good value for the money.

I am finally upgrading my socks from the usual box store options (Nike, Addidas) and this brand is so much nicer. Thick and soft around ankle, toes and bottom and thinner and breathable around center of foot. They fit very comfortably, snug but not tight. They fit just right. I am so satisfied that I bought another color and I am going to discard my old socks.

I've been looking for socks that sit an inch or two above the ankle bone, so they can double as everyday socks and basketball socks. Whenever I play basketball, my basketball shoes always rub against my ankle bone if my socks are too short or thin. I usually buy Nike socks for this reason, but they're so expensive. I tried Hames, but they keep getting holes in them after a few months and they get really sweaty fast. So, I gave these a try instead.This is what I'll be buying from now on. They're way cheaper than Nike socks, and they're as good if not better. The fit is perfect, the material is durable yet comfy and breathable, and the design isn't too obnoxious. Also, the packaging it came in was really nice for some reason lol.I'm recommending these to EVERYBODY from now on. I'll update my review if they're quick to develop holes or tears, but I doubt that will happen with how good this material is.UPDATE: It's been a little over 3 months now, and some of these socks have started to form holes. The packaging says that you should "air-dry only", but I've been putting them in the dryer every time I wash them. There was a noticable drop in quality after drying them a few times; they were less smooth and soft. I'm planning on buying another pack and ONLY air-drying them, because I think they would've had a longer lifespan if I followed the instructions. Most of the socks are still wearable though.
