We purchased this after our wooden closet rod failed and all our clothes ended up on the floor. The brackets for these are solid metal and use three screws each, making them far more sturdy than what we had. Our closet spans about 65 in, so the adjustable nature of this one worked out well. It just has one adjustable piece, and several optional extensions to give it a wide range of sizes that it will fit.The instructions are decent but I wished they included the recommended size of the pilot hole, though it was easy enough to eyeball. I was screwing directly into hardwood, so I only needed a tiny pilot hole.Overall, these were easy to install and felt very sturdy once complete. Would recommend.

I have a lot of clothing and it's holding pretty firm. There's going to be some bend to the rod regardless, but it seems like it will hold well.When you're installing it, remember that the extending end is smaller than the other end, so if you want to perfectly level you'll need to measure for that.It comes with a chart to tell you how to make whatever length you need.

Perfect! Exactly as pictured and is perfect for the space I needed it for. The length being adjustable is great, as I can move it to a different area if needed. Seems durable + sturdy, and the black looks nice as well. Would recommend!

This product boasts being "heavy duty" but it is not strong at all. It bends easily and I know it will collapse if I put my clothes on it. Maybe if you are putting lightweight baby clothes on it but nothing more than that. Waisted my money.

I have used 5 of these in my bedroom turned walk-in closet. I have load them all full with some heavy and some light shirts, sweaters, paints, and jackets. They seem to be holding up well with only slight bowing in the center. If you view it at a glance you can/t notice the sag. Overall, pretty good bang for the buck.

Bought for my son's closet. Rod is said to hold 50lbs per bar but with very little clothes started to sag in the middle. I did not feel it was safe in my little son's closet so we had to buy a heavy duty rod to support the center of the bar which was an added cost but worked perfectly.

It fits together easily. I required 77 inch's, which was no problem to set up. Because of the longer length needed, it does "give a little", (bend), with a lot of clothes hung on it. Overall, it does the job nicely!

The rod is plastic and if you are using it beyond the shortest length it will bow on the middle. The product does not come with something to support the centre so it is up to the buyer to purchase another item in order to support it. For $35 I would recommend you skip it.

Looks good, material is ok, but a two parts rod is a very bad idea, it's bending.
