I am fairly new to camping and I bought this 2 person tent as my first tent in 2020. I chose it because it is 3 season, the reviews said it was roomy for a 2 person tent and that the rainfly was effective, and I love the color (and price point!). It has been perfect! It is easy to set up, even on my own when I go solo camping (I'm a 5'2" woman and had never set up my own tent before), and definitely is roomy for 1 person and works fine for 2 people. The front and back vestibules (when the rainfly is on) are really helpful for storing shoes and also providing a bit of a screen first thing in the morning when opening up the entrance. The rainfly was effective during some light showers last time I was camping, and the interior hook and pockets are really helpful (especially if 2 people are in the tent, since there is not much additional floor space). I did hand sew in some cords inside on the seam allowance to hang string lights which I love but of course isn't necessary :).The tent packs up really well in the provided duffle and is small enough that when I took a friend with a tiny apartment camping she got very excited that she might be able to store some camping essentials, which she previously hadn't thought possible. My only slight issue has been that the tent stakes can bend pretty easily if you use a mallet or your foot, so if you camp often on harder or rocky ground you may need to invest in some higher quality stakes (I haven't had an issue re-using the bent ones on softer dirt, and the set does come with extra if you do bend one and can't use it, which is great). I definitely did also buy the footprint that comes separately - if you are very good about folding your tent you can fit that into the duffle bag as well. All in all this has been a great tent - I've used it in sweltering heat in sand dunes in Texas and in 35 degree F January nights in California and it has held up beautifully.

If in a rush: GET IT, CHEAP REALLY REALLY WATER PROOF AND LIGHTWEIGHTUPDATE: I added a picture showing the mesh size, you can compare it to the white thread below, it is a VERY small opening type mesh (a good thing, air flows, no criters however small can get in)Just be sure to give yourself enough time to receive it. I ordered Wednesday with prime, should have received on friday, arrived next tuesday, needless to say it was a stressful start of week, my trip depended on itIf you have a few more seconds to read this review:I had a "this weekend" invitation for an overnight river kayaking trip. Since the pandemic (2020) I hadn't used my old tent (Eureka Zeus Exo 1 - I loved it) but too long stored without TLC lost its waterproofness.Decided to go with this one cause its a similar design, it was really cheap considering all other options/brands, light enough and the "allegedly" overnight shipping. The tent is REALLY water proof, it poured on us from 7pm until 4am, I fell asleep in seconds hearing the rain on the tent rain cover and didnt wake up until 5am. All other tents got wet (4 of them including 1 North Face and one REI - personally I always considered REI to be over rated). Of 5 tents, 4 had the same design and mine outperformed all others.Vents work really well and tent is comfy enough to sleep in there with a pack (snug but comfy). Im 6.2", 238lbs (on the big side of the scale) and had enough room to stretch feet and sleep face down with hands hugging pillow (i.e. a bit longer over my head). I used the tent in tropical weather (about 97F and 90% humidity) but I can see it work in any temp and being able to take snow weight - not blizzard though. It sets up in about 2 minutes when not rushing, and folds in about 3-4 minutes in same conditions.Get it, I love this tent and yes, I think its better than the Eureka

Review edit:I was contacted by Clostnature to inquire about any problems that I might have had with the tent after I posted my first review. That alone is a very positive sign, as it shows a company with a culture of looking out for their customers and standing behind their products. But that's not the reason I gave the more stars :) . The truth is, before that, I was already wondering if I was being too harsh on the tent. Only way to find out was to take it out, and that we did: went on a hiking /camping trip for a couple of nights, deep into a pine forest in relatively high altitude, but definitely not relative cold nights. Here's what I found out:1. Tent had enough space for my wife, 2 children (a small 6 year old and a lanky teen). We weren't crowded at all, and while 4 adults will probably bee way too cramped together, for a family like ours it was perfect.2. Vestibules were great for our gear, easily taking our backpacks and assorted camping stuff.3. The importance of having 2 entrances cannot be overstated, as people exit and enter the tent for various reasons while others rest.4. We had to bunker down a bit because of the cold, but in the morning we had NO condensation whatsoever. This I found to be fairly impressive! good job there, Clostnature. So before I mentioned I was wondering if I was being too harsh on the tent. The reason is, I started suspecting my experience with water sipping thru the inner might have been a user error, not a product error. I went over the terrain and I think that there are areas where water could have easily pooled up, or the footprint sagged and got water in a pool in it and this THEN started filtering trough the floor. I am, to be honest, not sure if that is what happened, but can hardly give a bad review to a product while there is a chance that I didn't set it up correctly in the first place right? so that's fixed. Will wait for rainy season to put this matter to rest. OTHER than that, tent behaved superbly in our camping trip ,and I am looking forward to putting much more use on it, cheers.---Below, ORIGINAL version of the review, which has now been updated. Left for reference only---.Bought this tent (4 person version) AND the Clostnature footprint for it, with plans of taking the family thru some short backpacking stints. Set it up on my backyard for 5 days to test it, and this is what happened:1. The tent comes very nicely packaged on a carrybag, and includes the rainfly, tent itself, stakes, poles.2. The setup is very easy, with virtually no instructions and certainly no experience my 6 year old daughter and I were able to set it up in 5 minutes or so.3. We set it up in a mostly even area in the backyard. Nothing that would even begin to rival conditions on actual outdoors.4. Had two of the stakes bend easily while setting up. Ordered replacement stakes.5. Spent a couple nights on the tent, and glad to report it held well to the cold and to mid gusts of wind.On the 4 night, it rained a bit.6. Woke up to wet feet and was very dissapointed to notice the tent was leaking BADLY on the floor. What happened was the footprint gathered some rain, forming a small pool, and this pool then leaked almost whole unto the tent. Not talking drops here, it was VERY much full of water in the area where it happened. So that would be my ding for this tent. While I can certainly use it (with the family) during the dry months, I would NOT take it out during the rainy season, or even to a wet, humid forest. The risk of having water come thru the floor again is too big. And I was using the footprint, which is all about protecting the tent better. So to recap: 2 stakes bent easy, but more seriously water came in thru the tent floor. And no the good boy didn't come into the tent.Come on Closnature, should have done better.OTHER than that, prior to the rain, spent a nice evening with my daughter just looking at the stars through the mesh, so that was nice :).

Great little tent. Fits two people, but its pretty tight. Absolutely perfect for one person, though. We got heavily rained on and the tent stayed dry inside. I wouldn't use it in the fall - It is really a summer tent. Easy to pitch and the rain fly comes out enough at the door for you to keep your shoes dry.

I haven't yet slept in the tent, but as soon as it arrived I assembled it and was delighted with the fast, easy setup and nice design features. It packs down nicely to fit in a backpack, and only slightly heavier than my super-lightweight tent that's tiny and a pain to set up. Can't wait to use it.

Very compact, extremely easy to set up and repack. I did spray with a waterproofing before we set on the trail but it rained most of the night our first night on the mountaintop and we did not experience any leakage or seepage. The zippers work great. I bought a lightweight footprint for extra protection to the tent base. This tent slept 3 adults, a 22 month toddler and a medium sized dog with plenty of room to spare.

I went camping this weekend and used my new tent! It's easy to set up, roomy inside, and best of all, completely rainproof. It poured last night, and I was cozy and dry inside the tent.I wanted a tent like those expensive MEC ones, but I think this tent is superior.
