I purchased this Hook Pole to open and close an air conditioning/heating vent high up on my wall. I had been climbing on a step stool several times a day to adjust the vent to the rooms up and down temperatures. With this pole I don't need to climb a step stool. It is sturdy enough to open and close the vent easily. I am very pleased with the poles sturdiness, quality and the price is awesome.
