I have tried for years to find a thimble to use. I am left handed and it is not easy to do most crafts because most everything is made for right handed people. This thimble is for either hand and believe me it works really well. Make sure that you purchase the correct size when you order. They do seem to run a might big. But again, I have looked for years and finally found these. Well worth the price and time to get them. And they were delivered earlier than stated also.

I use this and the leather thimbles that slide on. It's nice that it's adjustable and can fit any finger you choose. It says it's gold but mine was silver which I prefer.

Very adequate for the job! I wish it came in a larger size. Even though it is adjustable, it's a bit uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes. It saved my hand from a lot of damage. A must have tool for difficult hand-sewing e.g. costumes dolls, teddy, upholstery, home decor! Once you try it you will never want to be without it.

I use thimbles for hand sewing. Unfortunately most don't work very well for me. Until this one. Love the soft leather and the metal coin end that allows you to push a sharp needle through heavy fabric.

I got this thimble so that I can heal the painful calluses that have developed on my index finger and thumb as a result of all-day hand quilting and embroidery.The fit is somewhat loose on both index fingers. So, I tried fitting it on my thumbs but they're too big for the thimble. Finally, I tried it on both my middle fingers. It's slightly too large at the base, but that's fine because this may help provide good air circulation. That said, the top feels a bit snug, which may be a plus because it might not slip as I'm trying to work.Overall, I'm glad I got this leather thimble to test out. It will take some getting used to because I'm used to working with my bare hands.

This has saved my finger when I am knitting. My index finger pushes the knitting needle tip and it was hurting me so much. I saw this little odd looking thimble and decided to try it. I am so glad I did. I wrap it around the first joint of my index finger and it protects me perfectly and still lets me use my finger tip to hold and move my yarn and does not impede the movement of my finger. This is a really cleaver invention. If it sounds like something that would work for you, get it! You will not be disappointed.

Lost my great worn in old thimble from years ago. This one is just like it and fits just right. So glad I finally found one to replace my old favorite!

Great thimble, soft leather and a sturdy metal top perfect for pushing the needle when doing leather work or sewing thick materials. The thimble is very comfortable to wear and allows for a nice amount of movement. The size is just perfect. In regard to some bad reviews citing the size being small, a lot of people don't know how to use this thimble properly. This thimble is meant to be worn on your pointer finger and not on your thumb, hence the size. It has an illustration on the package where you can see this so I am not sure how people missed it.
