They are a good length and they aren’t so flimsy that they bend and become unusable . They are sharp enough and were a good value to buy . No rough spots to snag cloth either .

I use these pins for all my fabrics, not just silk. I find them to have less damage ( pin holes) on my fabric. They do bend easily. They are of a good length, sharp, average size pins. I like the little red balls on the pin, it makes it easier to take them out.

Great, sharp and fine pins. Will bend in heavier fabric, but great on most fabrics. Recommend these pins. I’ve bought twice.

I really like the clover brand silk glass head pins. I don’t have to worry about melting them if the iron happens to touch one. Also, the friction while pinning into delicate fabrics is minimal. They are good for mid to light weight fabrics and don’t do well on quilting cottons or heavier fabrics.I will add that I like the pin heads that are white and red - not because of the colors, but because they are a sturdier pin that the blue and yellow headed pins. The blue and yellow can only be used successfully with very fine light weight fabrics without bending / even slightly. I don’t know if Clover changed the pin or if the blu/yellow packages are meant for lighter more delicate fabrics.

I mostly quilt in my sewing but this is the only pin in my sewing box. I love the glass heads so I can iron right over them with no harm what so ever. They are thin and sharp so they do not harm delicate fabric if you are a clothing sewist.

Da ich viel nähe brauche ich ständig Stecknadeln. Ich habe davon auch wirklich genügend - nur stellte ich fest, dass nicht alles gleich spitz sind, manche sogar eher stumpf - ein großes Ärgernis wenn man sehr empfindliche Stoffe zu verarbeiten hat, wie namentlich reine Seide. Einmal - einmal ! - mit einer nicht ganz spitzen Stecknadel in den Stoff gestochen, und schon hat man im edlen Stoff einen Faden gezogen, das heißt diesen irreparabel verletzt. Auch wenn das Mini-Verletzungen sind konnte ich mich mit dem Trost "sieht doch keiner" nicht mehr zufrieden geben - und habe glücklicherweise hier diese Spezialstecknadeln gefunden. Sie sind wirklich hervorragend - so spitz dass der edle Seidenstoff nicht verletzt wird. Allerdings muss man auch etwas aufpassen, denn ganz rasch hat man sich selbst damit gestochen...Insgesamt klare Empfehlung, das Nähen mit Seide macht erst jetzt wirklich wieder Spaß!
