Amazon itself packacked the first set irresponsibly (too much weight in a box which fell apart and ended up getting returned to sender) on the first order which was fulfilled by amazon, a second set directly from CMS magnetics had a mixup on the number of magnets delivered but a single email to the company quickly cleared the whole mess up. I would reccomend ordering directly from the company but they're a great price, reasonably strong, and had adequate magnetic field lines for the outreach demonstration they were purchased for.

Ceramic Ferrite magnets are good for outdoors as long as they are painted to protect from weather. these have enough strength for my use. 8

Last year I designed a series of lightweight 4'x8' coroplast photo panels to disguise the ugly grey metal panels past which attendees at our community's annual World War II reenactment weekend must pass. (Coroplast is the corrugated plastic material candidates use for their lawn signs.) We hung them with plastic interlocking strips, which took two people all afternoon to maneuver into place using a cherrypicker. The strips let go literally overnight and on opening morning, three of the eight panels had already fallen off the building. All but two dropped off as the day progressed. It was embarrassing and disappointing. This year I suddenly had a brainstorm and tried using six magnets exactly like these, but three times the cost from a local hardware store. The test panel went right up with just me doing the hanging, and no need for a cherrypicker, an extra helper, or even a ladder. (See photo) I left the panel on overnight, during which we had a steady breeze. The next morning the panel was still in place. Yay! I immediately ordered this box of magnets from Amazon, we applied them, and despite a sudden wind that went through, only one panel blew down the night before we opened, and that was easily hung after the rainstorm passed through. These are mighty strong and really did the trick. I'm going to get more and design a few more panels.

These are very strong magnets. I use them on car when camping. Only thing I will do is make some kind of cover so wont scratch car.

These are really strong magnets and there are a lot more of them in the box than I expected. I used 5-6 of them recently on a camping trip to secure a tarp to my vehicle because the rain was severe. They held great. Each magnet is the size of a thick domino.Found a great use for them: on my camping trip my aluminum wind screen (that I set up around my cook stove) kept getting blown over by the wind (the wind screen won’t work properly if if you can’t keep it set up! These magnets stuck to the metal stove through the aluminum screen and held it perfectly in place in spite of the wind. This was AWESOME!CON: one started to chip, broke in half and basically fell apart. (It was not dropped nor was it mishandled in any way.) But then again, I got more than expected and these will probably last for a long time with continued use. The two pieces still work fine so I can use these for smaller jobs. This is not a big con but I wanted to give a full accurate review. I think you could probably drive down the freeway with these on the outside of your vehicle and they’d stay put! I store them just inside my truck bed on the truck bed wall so that they are ready to go when I need them.

Aimants puissants fabriqués en Chine...j'espère dans des conditions humaines et environnementales satisfaisantes. Je n'ai rien à ajouter à tout cela.
