And, with them being permanently attached, damaged wheels render the whole trunk useless. When we install the simple steel bracket of the Wheel Away System, there’s no additional height to your trunk. The spring-loaded ball bearing on the shaft of the wheel clicks into a locked position when you pop it into either end of the steel bracket, ensuring that your wheels will stay in place during transportation! Installing these doesn't get much easier. Probably took me about 5 minutes total and didn't run into any problems. They include a QR code you scan which takes you to a YouTube video with installation instructions. I just followed the tutorial and everything went smooth. These wheels are a MUST. The first year my daughter went to camp, I didn't have these installed. This year, I put them on and what a difference.

My daughter uses a trunk for camp each summer. The wheels work great BUT we need to replace them EVERY year. There is a lip on where you connect the wheel that catches and only two small welds holding it together so it easily breaks. She goes to camp with a working/wheeled trunk and comes back with at least one wheel wobbling and hardly staying on.
