Using this to get power from inside a case, to outside while maintaining water tight connections. This works fantastic in rain and snow, ensuring the case stays tight and the leads cannot get wet. Good buy.

My mother in law needed her cart but her batteries were 0.3 volts each. They were both 12 volt batteries. Found that the factory charger did not work, so I decided to use this and run the wires directly to the 12 volt battery. After install, it looks great, hardware works great for it and no complaints.

The product is of good quality and design. The two pieces snap together with a solid connection and hold well. I will not be afraid of the connection inside the mast on my Hunter 25 while sailing. This product will make stepping the mast easy when the time comes. I will say that soldering the wire connections was a bit tedious but with care, can be done.

I've soldered up a few of these now and I will say they are pretty nice. You can take them apart so you can solder the pins much easier. The quality is solid and something I would expect in a high-end application. I used these for the control boxes on my Mill and lathe. They will do the job quite swimmingly.

Purchased this as a backup replacement for the XLR plug set on my work scooter and charger. They are going to fail and when they do I will need a backup immediately so I've decided to keep these on hand. Tip. If you want a fault-free connection every time make sure you start using immediately and continue using a quality deox grease or spray as scooter and ride on toy plugs corrode quite easily and will cause incomplete charging. Not something you want to discover halfway through the day. This plug and socket set is 10 times better than the OEM plug and socket sets provided by the mfrs.
