I got a new pair of Justin pull on work boots and struggled to get them off at the end of the day. The material at the ankle of the boot would want to come up with my foot and it would basically wedge my foot in the boot. Now I slide this down in the boot to my heel and my foot slides out effortlessly.To be honest I wish I could've returned the boots, but after just a single day on the jobsite that wasn't an option.

Hands down, the best shoe horn I have ever bought. This thing is STURDY. I am a middle-aged woman with no mobility issues, but discovered the ease of using a shoe horn to help keep my shoes looking good and save pinching my fingers. It is thicker than the cheap, thin metal shoe horn from China that I had previously that bent, but probably not thicker than most plastic shoe horns. And not so thick that it is uncomfortable to use to get into some of my tighter shoes and booties. I guess you *could* bend it if you tried hard enough, (put it in a vise....) but I can't imagine that, with everyday use, it would ever bend. I am so glad I spent a little extra and got this one - and made in America! (If you're going to talk the talk, you've got to walk the walk.) I bought the 16" - easy to use sitting down, which is what I wanted. Could use it standing, but bent over, if you wanted. Not sure this would be the best size to take for traveling, but I guess it could be done. I would definitely purchase again in a shorter size for me or same size as a gift for someone else.

Was worried that buying a metal shoe horn would be at the price of it possibly bending with downward force, but it's served me really well. Comes with none of the issues of a plastic shoehorn, which can become brittle and prone to breakage.If for whatever reason I lose this, I'm buying this brand again. Stellar product.

This shoe horn is very durable, but I wish it was a bit wider. Otherwise, it’s very strong and generally works well for getting into boots.

I bought this 16-inch metal shoehorn to help me put on my shoes without bending over so much. I have back problems, and bending over to put on my shoes was starting to cause me pain. I purchased two new pairs of my favorite shoes this winter; unfortunately they had changed the design which made it difficult to get my high arched feet into them. Once I used the shoe horn, no trouble slipping them on easily and the shoe horn did make them sit the right way on my feet also. The length of the horn is just right for me, I can store it in my shoe cabinet no problem. I wish I had purchased this sooner!The width and scoop of the shoe horn where my ankle rest against is fine. If it was wider, it wouldn't work quite as well to slip my shoes on. If my foot was two or three sizes larger/wider it would be a little uncomfortable but still do the job. The edges are not sharp or cutting like some cheap plastic style are. The metal edges are smooth and rounded. I wear a women's 9.5 to 10 or men's size 8 but mostly stick to women's sizes as my feet have narrowed with age. As a child, I wore leather prescription shoes that were form fitting and restrictive. I had to use my parents plastic shoe horn to get them on until they were broken in. I remember how painful the edges of that shoe horn were, even once my feet were adult size. The metal construction makes a big difference. It feels sturdy enough to last for years, hopefully decades.
