This is not a gel padded but it still has very good padded quality. Easy 40 mile ride no problem. Size is good, don’t go smaller as it will fit too tight. I’m between a xl and L and the L was too tight for me. The LX is very nice.

I know I'm a big guy, 6'1 260lbs. a buddy of mine suggested these as being better for big guys like we are. That said, even when I was a more slender guy I've always had difficulty finding cycling shirts that fit right. I've always had broad shoulders and a thick neck. Add in my now beer keg belly and this shirt just doesn't cut it. Even if I lost some weight I'm not sure I'd be able to work this shirt. I'm right on the upper limits of the 3x chest and it's tight. The sleeves are too short, I'm smack dab in the middle of the arm length measurement acc to the chart. Overall the material is stretched to its limits on my core and quite transparent. And I can't quite zip it all the way up as it's uncomfortably tight around the neck.As for the bibs. Well, they are the best fitting bibs I've yet tried. I was slightly worried as I'm a 31 inseam, but they aren't looking like a set of capris. With a little adjustment i got the tops over my shoulders around my belly and tried some squats. They moved well with me and didn't feel overly tight. I like the fact the top was white so they'd blend better with my other white cycling jersies. I also like the subtle graphic and no garish company ads on the outfit overall. I do wish they had a side pocket, I know the shirt has them but I've always liked my kit to have a side pocket. I haven't tried a ride in them yet but the pad does feel a bit thinner and more dense than my other padded clothing. Not sure if I'll keep them yet or send them back and only order a set of bibs.Pros:Subtle, not in your face brandedThe bibs fit well for a bigger guyPad feels like it's in the right spotThe quality feels good for the price pointConsShirt is too small for my buildNo side pocket on the bibsPad feels a bit thin and dense.

I originally ordered the recommended xl size. No way. I then went to 2xl. Again no go. 3xl fits great. I’m 6’2†225. Great fit and padding in the bib and the top is really nice as well.

This was actually my first bib/set ever purchased. I ordered a XL, I’m 5’11, 215lbs. It is slightly loose but I would prefer it this way, I can go down to a large but I don’t need it to be skin tight like under Armour type shirts. The padding is super comfortable and a blessing. I have order another bib and will probably order more in the future. I have washed it numerous times and no issue with stitching, fading, or wearing. I have probably road 300 miles in this bib in a month. I have no complaints. Give it a shot if you don’t want to buy bibs that cost over $100.

Fit perfectly. Cocunut makes the best budget gear for cycling. Ive rolled the dice on many other cheap amazon bibs. These are the best. I got xl im 5'8 and 200lbs

I ordered this kit without much expectation of what would arrive.I am very surprised at the quality and build of this article.I closely examined the garment and only found one stitching error on the back of the jersey.Nice pockets and I love the zippered pocket in the center on top of the stash pocket. Great for ID/wallet and very small phone. The pad was very soft and comfortable - took it on a 20-mile MTB just to break it in.Even though this is more of a road kit - I thought it would work for me on gravel/MTB since it is so inexpensive I wasn't worried about tearing or beating it up. Most of my kits are >$240 and I hate beating them up on crazy MTB rides and extreme gravel adventures. Gorik and Ale' are what our team and sponsors provide with a custom fit.OK, the one negative or gripe - the fit across the abdomen for the jersey is loose. It is fitted more for a "dad bod" with a little more tummy. I'm not disparaging riders with a little more padding, but if you are used to a bodycon and tight fit in the jersey this one is IMHO very loose.I wish that you could order different sizes between the bibs and the jersey. There was no option to do this so they both were labeled LARGE. It would probably fit me better if it was L-bibs and M-jersey.6'(183cm) 172lbs(78kg) waist 29"(73.5cm) chest 40"(102cm)Will probably order more of these just to have for local and adventure rides. Save the expense kits for races and sponsored events. You won't be disappointed if you order this kit!GREAT VALUE FOR THE $$$

I used it 3 times and washed it 3 times, everything is great!

Bibs are great, but the zipper to my jersey seems defective and cheap. It started to separate from the bottom immediately after putting it on. Do not see any option to only return the jersey and keep bibs.
